Perseverance -
there are always gonna be challenges. just gotta have the strength to keep overcoming them…
"I recently started up a new hobby. Cycling.
I never really thought it would be an activity that I would find myself doing, but nonetheless I have taken to it well. Like many people out there I have always owned a bike and somehow just let it sit in the shed gathering dust. But recently my bf got interested in fixing up his bike. I am an active person, so I felt like it’d be another great way to workout and an even better way to get OUTSIDE. So much of my life is spent inside at work and inside the house when I come home.
On our first trail ride we did 12 miles. And most recently we did 9 miles with more uphill/downhill involved. (I felt like a little kid going down the big hill, can’t lie. I may have even said “wheeeee!”)
I still have a lot of work to do in the technique arena, but as I said I’ve just begun. W.I.P. (work in progress).
Many people are in a rush to do great things. But make sure you are trying to do great things with patience, diligence and the ability to see opportunity where others may not.
I’m by no means and expert, but I can tell you from experience that being in a rush can prevent you from being thorough. If you are not being diligent you may prevent yourself from spotting an opportunity. And the inability to understand what an opportunity just leaves you, well…short.
I’ve been so inspired by the people, nature, and life lately…. I have a lot of creative ideas building up so hope you will see them soon :)
My drive home today was amazing. My sunroof was back, sunglasses were on and it was 80 degrees and sunny. I blasted 90’s Mariah Carey all the way home.
… I loved every moment of it.
